Rabbi AMMIEL HIRSCH is senior rabbi at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue. The Jerusalem Post named him among “The 50 Most Influential Jews of the Year” in 2024 and City & State New York magazine has praised him as “the borough’s most influential voice” for Manhattan’s more than 300,000 Jews. He is the president of the New York Board of Rabbis, host of the bi-weekly podcast "In These Times with Rabbi Ammi Hirsch" and author of “One People, Two Worlds: A Reform Rabbi and an Orthodox Rabbi Explore the Issues That Divide Them,” written with Rabbi Yosef Reinman, and “The Lilac Tree: A Rabbi's Reflections on Love, Courage, and History.”

• 9:30 a.m. - Shabbat Services - Rabbi Hirsch will deliver the sermon: Finding Unity in a Post-October 7 World.
• Noon(ish) - Shabbat Lunch
• 12:45 p.m. - Minchah in the Bernstein Chapel
• 1:00 p.m. - Rabbi Hirsch will lead a discussion: Zionism Through Biblical Texts.
No cost for Shabbat lunch, but registration requested.
