Introducing…. Village Tots- CSZ’s Baby and Me class for our youngest learners. Join Morah Lindsay Mall on Sunday mornings 10am for songs, movement, instruments, bubbles, and so much more. No registration required, free and open to the community- join in on the fun! We’ll laugh, dance, sing, and play! Perfect for tots ages 0-2 years.

Jim Berk hosts participants in person at CSZ, outdoors on the William Saulson Pavilion for gentle stretching and exercises. Safety protocols are in place for everyone on the CSZ campus, including appropriate distancing and mask use. Cost: $5.00 per person per session, payable directly to Jim Berk at the conclusion of each class.

Middle schoolers and their parents are invited for a special information session on what it means to be a Jewish high school student today, including getting the inside scoop on college admissions as well as leadership and volunteer opportunities to boost resumes. Additionally, we will talk about teen mental health and provide tools to create confident, educated, Jewish adults. This special event features the Frankel Jewish Academy’s Director of College Counseling as well as our very own Rabbi Aaron Starr (father of two teenagers!). There will also be an opportunity to speak with Rachel Maxbauer, FJA’s director of admissions. The event is open to the community. Registration is requested, and there is an optional pizza dinner at 5:00 p.m. The program will formally begin at 5:30 p.m.

An introductory class to Jewish life, learning, ritual, and thought for those interested in joining the Jewish people or just learning more about their tradition.

Every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. on Zoom Dr. Jay Inwald, a psychologist and Congregation Shaarey Zedek officer, has generously volunteered to facilitate a weekly support group for people dealing with loss of all kinds. The gathering will take place online weekly through Zoom. There is no charge. It is our hope that this group will provide you comfort and support during your time of grief and healing. Children ages 0-4 and their favorite adults are invited to come play in person at CSZ. Join Lindsay Mall for a Rhythm and Ruach class, with songs, gross motor activity and more! The community is welcome to join us. We suggest a $5.00 donation per family pr session. You can pre-pay here early or bring $5.00 with you each week. We are thrilled to invite everyone to CSZ’s beautiful Shabbat on Bell Road, as we resume on Friday evening, April 4th! Join us for a lively childrens’ service at 5:30 pm with special guest Caitlin Klaper, a delicious Chinese food dinner at 6 pm, and an interactive musical T.G.I.S. (Thank God It’s Shabbat!) service for everyone following the dinner at 7:00 pm. Be sure to register by noon on Wednesday, April 2nd.

Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Hazzan David Propis

Join Rabbi Aaron Starr, Rabbi Yoni Dahlen or Ritual Director Saul Rube in the CSZ Beit Midrash for refreshments and a relaxed discussion before the Shabbat morning service begins. We will use traditional and contemporary commentaries on the weekly Torah portion to mine our sacred scripture for wisdom, truth, a better understanding of the human condition, an exploration of the profundity of the Jewish experience, and appreciation for the Jews’ unique relationship with God and each other.

Join us each Shabbat morning in the Tikvah Chapel for songs, prayer, games, challah and grape juice snack, and fun with your Shul friends. Open to the congregation and the community. Activities for kids ages 0-12.

Feeling crafty? Come join us on Shabbat mornings for shabART Club, where we will create meaningful art based on the weeks Parsha. Ages 7+ are invited to participate! Please register for this series, limited drop-in spots will be available. *All crafts will be shabbat friendly
