Creating Shanghai Sonatas

CSZ is proud to host this program to exemplify how two very different cultures came together at a challenging time in their history. Sean will be bringing his violin virtuosity and will also feature his 6-WIRE ensemble as well as four talented musicians from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. The program will also feature clips from the staged performance of the musical and classical, Jewish, and Chinese music. An exhibit from the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum is also on display in the CSZ lobby.
