Summer 2024 will bring 150 Israeli campers to Camp Tamarack, a record number in this
unforgettable year. It will be a month of new friendships, joy and fun made possible by the
Elaine & Michael Serling Israeli Camper Program and Jewish Federation of Detroit.

In support of this worthy initiative, Sisterhood’s PAMPER-A-CAMPER project will donate needed supplements of shampoo & conditioner, bug spray, and sunscreen to the Israeli Camper Program, and has volunteered to assemble their Welcome Gift Bags at Federation on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 4:00-6:30 pm.

Allison Gutman, Senior Israel Associate & Director of the Israeli Camper Project and ShinShinim Program, will provide volunteers with an in-depth history of the program, and the remarkable challenges of this year’s plan.
